Dr. Pendleton and Dr. Vieira are experts in their respective fields and worked with the drinkwel team to create the first multivitamin designed specifically for people who drink.


Dr. James Pendleton is a licensed naturopathic physician with experience creating nutritional supplements, spanning conception and formulation to materials procurement and manufacturing. He previously managed research & development projects for a major nutritional supplement manufacturer with distribution across 50 countries.

He has practicing locations in Los Angeles, California; Scottsdale, Arizona; and Seattle, Washington. Dr. Pendleton has also worked all over the world; most recently as the medical director of a VIP health center in Abu Dhabi. Learn more.



Dr. Karen Vieira is a scientist with a PhD in Biomedical Sciences, and research experience both in academia and with the largest food company in the US.
